Verdant Lounge is designed as a flexible social environment that balances comfort, atmosphere, and functionality.
The project explores how color, materiality, and spatial openness can shape a more relaxed hospitality experience, where guests can transition seamlessly between casual seating and bar interaction.
Through a combination of warm wood, soft upholstery, and carefully integrated lighting, the space achieves a refined yet approachable character.
Lounge Area
The lounge seating area is organized to support informal gatherings, with soft seating arrangements and warm tones creating a comfortable and inviting environment. The layout allows for flexibility while maintaining visual coherence.
Bar Area
The bar serves as the central anchor of the space, combining service efficiency with a strong visual presence. Curved forms, layered lighting, and material contrast enhance both usability and atmosphere.
Social Flow
The design focuses on creating a continuous flow between seating areas and the bar, encouraging movement and interaction. Open sightlines and a balanced layout allow the space to feel connected while still offering moments of intimacy.
Material & Identity
A palette of rich wood tones, green and terracotta upholstery, and brass accents defines the identity of the space. These materials introduce warmth and depth while supporting a cohesive and recognizable atmosphere.
Atmosphere & Lighting
Lighting is used to create a layered and adaptable environment, combining ambient ceiling lighting with softer accent sources. Warm tones enhance material textures and contribute to a relaxed, evening-focused atmosphere.
