Roast House is designed as a welcoming and familiar space where people can gather, work, or pause throughout the day.
The project focuses on creating a warm and approachable atmosphere through material richness, layered lighting, and a balanced mix of seating types.
By combining a functional service area with more relaxed lounge zones, the space supports both quick visits and longer stays, adapting to different rhythms throughout the day.
Main View/ Customer Area
The main seating area is organized to offer a variety of experiences, from small café tables to more comfortable lounge seating. This flexibility allows the space to accommodate both short visits and extended stays.
Service Counter
The service counter is designed as a clear focal point, combining functionality with visual warmth. Display elements, materials, and lighting work together to highlight products while maintaining an inviting presence.
Lounge Corner
A dedicated lounge corner introduces a softer and more intimate atmosphere, encouraging guests to relax and spend more time within the space.
Everyday Ritual
The design is centered around the idea of daily routine, creating a space that feels familiar, comfortable, and easy to return to. The layout and atmosphere support both movement and pause, reflecting the rhythm of a neighborhood coffee shop.
Warm Texture
A palette of natural wood, leather, and soft textiles defines the interior. These materials introduce depth and character while reinforcing a sense of comfort and authenticity.
Soft & Layered Light
Lighting is designed to enhance warmth and atmosphere, combining focused task lighting at the counter with softer ambient sources that create a relaxed and welcoming environment
