Arlo Residence is a study in warmth and material balance, where rich burgundy tones are paired with natural wood finishes and soft neutrals. The project focuses on creating a cohesive atmosphere across spaces, using color and texture to establish both continuity and depth.
Mid-century modern principles guided the design approach, resulting in interiors that feel structured, calm, and visually grounded.
Material & Color
The project is defined by a consistent palette of walnut wood, burgundy tones, brass details, and soft neutral surfaces. This combination creates a cohesive identity across all spaces while allowing each room to maintain its own character.
Kitchen
The kitchen combines functionality with a strong visual identity. Walnut cabinetry is paired with a deep burgundy tile backsplash, creating contrast while maintaining warmth. Brass accents and soft lighting add refinement, while the central island anchors the space and supports everyday use.
Living Area
The living area is designed as a calm and inviting space, where textures and tones work together in balance. Upholstered seating in neutral fabrics contrasts with darker wood elements, while burgundy accents introduce depth without overwhelming the composition.
Bedroom
The bedroom continues the material language of the project through a softer and more restrained palette. Layered textiles, warm wood furniture, and subtle color accents create a space that feels both comfortable and cohesive.
Bathroom
In the bathroom, burgundy tiles and brass fixtures define the visual character of the space. Balanced by lighter surfaces and natural textures, the design maintains clarity while introducing a more expressive material palette.
